What is ‘Favourites’?

‘Favourites’ is a Picture Australia function that allows you to save your favourite image records while you are searching.

‘Favourites’ is only available during a single session, so if you leave Picture Australia for an extended period of time, your ‘Favourites’ will disappear.

How do I add an image to my ‘Favourites’?

  • In the search results, click on the Adding an image to Favourites icon icon to compile your selection
  • You will notice that the screen refreshes and a message appears reading “1 image added to favourites”
  • The image you have selected will have a pale yellow background

You can start a completely new ‘Search’, adding further selected images to your Favourites during your current session.

How do I view my ‘Favourites’?

To view your Favourites click the Favourite images icon Favourites link in the top right hand corner of the search results screen. To return to your search results simply click the BACK button in your browser.

Can I save my ‘Favourites’?

Yes, you can save your Favourite images by using the Download Favourites disk icon Download link at the top of the Favourites page.

How do I remove images from my ‘Favourites’ selection?

There are 3 ways to remove images from your favourites:

  • Remove them individually from the search results using the Remove image from favourites icon icon
  • Remove them individually from the Favourite screen using the Remove image from favourites icon icon
  • Remove the altogether from the Favourites screen using the Remove all images from favourites icon Remove all link
